In this tutorial we will walk thru how to order a sample from your store along with adding credits to your account.

Placing an Order

Now we will jump into the store and select one of the products we created yesterday. Make sure to order something that you can actually use. Add a random photo to the cart and hit the checkout button.

If you have a bogus Gateway activated, you don't need to worry about this step. Otherwise, enter the discount code and continue to shipping.

Go to payment and hit the B to signify that you are using a bogus Gateway. Put in your name and address and pick an expiration date in the future. Hit pay now and you will get a confirmation screen.

Reviewing the Order

Jump back into the Customized app and refresh. You will see the order in the Not Ready status. We have three statuses with orders that come in: Ready, Hold, and Not Ready.

Ready is just saying okay this order is ready to be processed. Hold is used to put an order on pause. For example, maybe a customer needed to confirm their address or design. Not Ready is the default status when an order comes into Customized.

Processing the Order

Hit the Ready button and then the Process button. This will prompt you for the amount of the item and shipping costs. Hit Yes to process the order and deduct from your credits. At this point in time your order is sent directly to our printers and your order begins processing.

Adding Credits

If you don't have enough of a balance, you will get an error message. To add credits, go to the Add Credits page. You can add whatever amount you want. Put in your email and credit card information and hit Pay with Card.

You now have the credits in your account. If you decide not to use the platform, you can always get a refund of unused credits.

Ordering a Sample

Now we just have to process the sample. Hit Process and you will see the order is gone. To see the order, hit All and search. You will see it is in an Approved status.

This order will now be completed by our team and shipped to your customer. When you come back in a day or two, the tracking number will be populated and you will get it back to your Shopify store.

Conclusion
